Thank you to everyone who made Regency Week 2026 so special - from the guests who travelled across the world, to the stallholders, the entertainers, the venues and their volunteers, and to our own volunteers. Thank you! We can't wait to see you next year. The Birthday Ball tickets will go on sale shortly.

We'll also be launching our first ever grant scheme, which we're very excited about.

In the meantime there is another event taking place not too far from Alton. If you love Jane Austen, we have news of a concert not to be missed.

On Sunday September 13th at 3pm, the beautiful and historic St Hubert’s Church, Idsworth, becomes a Regency drawing room as acclaimed performers Penelope Appleyard and Jonathan Delbridge of ‘The Little Song Party’ - bringing Jane Austen’s world vividly to life.

Performed in period costume and accompanied by a beautifully restored 1814 Broadwood square piano, this unique programme features music Jane Austen played and sang herself, alongside extracts from her letters and novels, stories from her life, and music inspired by her enduring legacy.

Set within the intimate surroundings of one of Hampshire’s most atmospheric churches, this promises to be a magical celebration of music, literature and history.

Sunday September 13th at 3pm. St Hubert’s Church is tucked in the hamlet of Idsworth, just 15 minutes from Petersfield. Tickets £25
